My magic number...

Weighed in last night, and I lost 2 pounds! Hurray for me. BUT I am still at the darn SIXTY number. I can't believe it is taking so loooong to get past that stupid number. Only .2 pounds to get past the 60's. UGH! But it maybe my lucky number cause when I logged into my blog this morning I noticed I had 60 followers. Hurray for me again! And what's up with this weather out here. It's June 11th on the temps are in the, you guessed it, 60's! I have a HUGE country concert tomorrow too and it's outdoors. Calling for colder weather and thunderstorms. Maybe it will rain meatballs...

I know I can do it. I am feeling better about myself. I will get past this magic number of 60. Hurry someone join my blog as a follower and maybe the curse will be lifted. LOL

Another news flash is my FOOT IS NOT BROKEN!!! I know Stupid HUH! Let me explain. Reader's Digest version is~I got a second opinion yesterday from an Orthopedic Surgeon not just a Podiatrists. And he looked at the MRI and said he saw nothing that resembled a break old or new. He thinks I have a pinched nerve in my ankle that is causing the pain to my heel (referred pain). When I stand my right foot rolls in and is causing the nerve pain. So next step is to get fitted with special orthoptedic inserts and see if that corrects it. So I feel like a human Ginnie Pig! Wish me luck.

  3. I hate it when the weather can't figure out what it's doing! Hello? One day we've got the air conditioner on full blast .. the next day we're turning on the heat. UGH!
SO glad to hear about the foot! Turns out my little toe probably wasn't fully broken, either, since it's been healing a LOT faster than a break should :)

  5. Wow, we are on a similar path. I was stuck at that 60 lb. lost for what seemed like forever. I finally broke through it and am at 62 now. You can do it!!! Good luck with the foot. That's crazy that the new doc has such a different opinion. He is a surgeon. Maybe he knows what he's doing more. I hope the orthodics work.

  7. Awesome that your foot is not broken...bad that it is probably a pinched nerve. Booooo!! Hopefully the inserts will work.

Congrats on the 2 pound loss! That is soo awesome.

You are going to have a blast at Sea World. Don't forget to check out Old Town and Seaport Village. :) I live a little further up from SD (Temecula) but if I'm near downtown we should meet up. I don't know how long you will be here but it would be fun to meet a fellow blogger. :)

  8. Two pounds is awesome Lesia! And, that your foot isn't broken seems like very good news. Maybe 60 is your lucky number!

Thank you 60-million for the nice comment today on my lengthy post. I couldn't stop! I think it helped me to write about it. Until tomorrow, I won't know for sure. It took up your time to read it and to leave a kind message, and I'm really grateful because you made me feel better. Big hug coming through for you!

  12. I only WISH it was in the 60s here. It's in the 90s in Charleston, SC and it's discustingly humid. I went to an outdoor wedding yesterday... it was 95 yesterday, but with the heat index, it felt like 105. We all melted!
