The point...

I just looked at my WW log and saw it is taking me longer to lose 5 pounds. I have been hitting the 5 pound loss on an average of every 3 weeks. But this last 5 took 5 weeks. It scares me to think it will even take longer to lose the smaller I get. I guess I will really need lots of peep talks to NOT get discouraged in reaching my goal. I hear the words but I need to really understand them. I need to be OK with it and NOT give up. I hear so many people just give up when they reach this point. But my thought is this is the POINT OF NO RETURN! (sorry the clip uploaded really big for some reason)

I love, love, love this movie. And even though the video has NOTHING to do with weight loss, it does tie into my theme of NO RETURN....enjoy.

  1. I am told the longer it takes to come off the healthier it is and more than likely to keep it off.... SO HAPPY YOU REACHED YOUR GOAL...

  2. I think for most of us it comes off more slowly the more we have lost. And those pounds at the end can be so stubborn. But you are doing great.

  3. Hang in there. My sis lost about 50 on WW....super duper slow. She didn't exercise...not once. Sometimes she would only lose .8 lbs in a week. The good news...it has stayed off!!! Yeah!!! You can do it...slow and steady wins the race girl :)

  5. Just keep moving forward. Even if the scale is taking time it's okay as long as you are doing every thing you need to. It comes together eventually I just know it!
This is a great time to appreciate the NSV's (non-scale victories)

  6. What is the rush? I know once we decide we want to drop some pounds it can't come off fast enough. Don't just judge your progress by the scale alone. There are so many other things that are more important than the number on the scale. I only lose about a pound a week but at least it is going down!

  7. I saw the Phantom of the Opera at the theatre and it was exceptional, I haven't rented the movie yet, though.

  8. Tough it out and hang in there. Don't be discouraged by small losses. If you want bigger results and all you see are small ones, then it will certainly get you discouraged. Stay positive about what you HAVE lost and not what you think you should be losing.
By now we all know that the weight goes up and down, but ultimately it goes down when we stay on our plans. I gained 2 pounds but I know it will be gone in a few days with some extra gone as well.
Please be positive and don't let a day go by without sharing that smile with someone!
